  • Spinning reserves - Supply spinning reserves with unloaded less economical generation, while synchronized and on-line to serve additional load, for exchange of energy from increased output of more economical generation.
  • Energy banking - Accept delivery of energy from a reliable supplier and return energy at later dates and times with rates and amounts mutually beneficial to all.
  • Gas tolling - Provide daily gas nominations and balancing in exchange for purchase of capacity and energy from gas-fired generation.
  • Capital deployment - Invest in development of new generation and refurbishment of existing resources in exchange for additional capacity or energy.
  • Backup supply service - Provide capacity and energy to a customer, as needed, to replace the loss of its generation sources and to cover that portion of demand that exceeds the generation supply for more than a short time.
  • Joint marketing - Combine resources including purchases and sales to provide greater economies of scale to accentuate value.
